Copa Del Rey U11-U14
UNION FC is hosting the 21st Annual Copa Del Rey tournament for U9-U14 boys and girls during the month of December. The Copa Del Rey or “King’s Cup” is the first tournament in the Sacramento area looking to crown a King of under 9-14 boys and girls soccer. Awards are given to 1st and 2nd place finishers.
The Copa Del Rey is an 7v7, 9v9 and 11v11-a-side US Club Sanctioned Tournament open to any team that wants to enter. To ensure the best competition possible, send us a brief history of the tournaments or jamborees your team has participated in. Our goal is to make the Copa Del Rey one of the top tournaments in the area. This year we will be splitting our tournament into two dates.

Application Deadline is November 21st 2021. Please call for availability after the deadline.

Union FC Tryouts
We are excited to announce that we can get back on the fields. Union FC will hold new player conditioning and assessments on Friday, July 3rd at Larchmont Park at the times below. If you are unable to come on Friday, July 3rd you may contact the coach and set a time to be assessed.
This first phase back will be focused on individual conditioning and skills development.
1. CLICK HERE for a map of the field layouts and entrance and exit points for each field.
2. We will have check-in stations so each child can be screened before going to their field.
3. We will have sanitation stations at various locations at the fields and ask that each player sanitize their hands before and after practice.
4. We will also have locations for the players to place their bags.
5. We are requiring all players to wear masks to and from tryouts.
6. Each player needs to bring their own equipment, ball and water bottle.

Spooky Soccer-a-thon
The Union FC SOCCER-A-THON is an opportunity for all current Union players to play organized FUN games of soccer and soccer related activities while raising money for our Club. All Union FC players are welcome and strongly encouraged to participate. Our club is proud of our exceptional coaching staff; use of Larchmont Community Park; and many other facets that make our club unique. This fundraiser is essential to ensure that we continue to build on our momentum to make Union FC the top competitive soccer club in the Sacramento region.
ACTIVITIES will include:
• Spooky Scrimmage w/ Halloween Costumes
• Soccer themed games
• Player Vs Coaches game
• And much more!!!
We highly encourage each Union Player to fund raise $100 Fundraising PRIZES include:
• TOP FUNDRAISING TEAM will receive a pizza party
• Players who raise $100 or more will receive prizes (see attached donation form)
Wear your costumes for the spooky scrimmage. In addition, our players will have the opportunity to take on the Union Coaches in a competitive and highly entertaining game of soccer. This is the highlight for parents and players! We are tremendously excited for this event and hope that each player is able to participate, and that we achieve our fundraising goal.

Union Capital Cup 2019

UNION FC is hosting the 6th Annual Capital Cup for U9-U12 Boys and Girls. The Capital Cup
will be held in Sacramento, California on September 28th and 29th, 2019.
This is a 2-day, Silver and Bronze Level tournament hosting age groups U9, U10, U11, U12
Boys and Girls Teams. The Capital Cup is a US Club sanctioned tournament.

Union Champions Cup
The Champions Cup 2019 hosted by UNION FC will be held in Sacramento, California at Cherry Island Soccer Complex and Lembi Park August 17th and 18th, 2019.
This is a 2-day, CLASS I tournament hosting age groups U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, & U15 Boys and Girls Teams. The Champions Cup is a US Club sanctioned tournament.
Union Sacramento FC host high quality tournaments in Sacramento for the Northern California area. We have great events which are suitable for different levels of play, ranging from Premier/Elite – Silver/Bronze. Games for the Champion Cup are played on grass fields and we have an online check in process that is simple and easy.

Union Summer Soccer Camp
Union Sacramento FC will be hosting a skills camp this summer at our beautiful home fields located at Larchmont Community Park (2449 Stansberry Way, Sacramento, CA 95826)
This camp will cover all aspects of the game but will concentrate on skills development.
The camp will be run and coached by the professional staff at Union Sacramento FC.
Technique - dribbling, passing, receiving ground balls, receiving air balls, shooting, heading.
Tactics - beating an opponent, individual defending, small group tactics
Agility, balance, and coordination
Team tactics 0 support in attack, support in defense
Games - small sided and full field games
