Matt Weeden is a California native and the Regional Sales Manager for PolyMedics Innovations, Inc., an international leader of medical devices and therapies used to manage burn, trauma and acute injuries. Matt has worked in the medical sales arena for more than 17 years and enjoys bringing innovative technologies to market.
Matt holds a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University and a BA from Loyola Marymount University. He was a four-year member of LMU’s Division 1 Water Polo team and went on to coach at Rose Bowl Aquatics, Sacramento Water Polo, Jesuit High School, and USA Water Polo’s Pacific Region Area Development Team staff.
Matt has been on the Board since 2017. In addition to Union Sacramento FC, Matt has served on several boards including Sacramento Metro Chamber's Metro Edge, St. Ignatius Parish School’s CSAC, and Sacramento Water Polo Club.
He and his wife, Erin, live in Sacramento and have three children. Their son, Sutter, currently plays on the Union FC 2013 Boys team. Their daughter, Annie, played for the Union FC 2003 NPL team. He and his family enjoy cheering on their favorite team, Tottenham Hotspur.
